Ever since we opened our kitchen in 1969 our commitment to our patrons has remained unchanged. We ensure that every dish served at Santosh Dhaba meets stringent standards of flavor and authenticity. All recipes, ingredients, spices and herb mixes are taste tested and approved by Sushilabai before being added to the menu.

Over the past five decades, Hyderabad has opened its heart to Santosh Dhaba and it has grown to become an iconic culinary landmark. The ‘Santosh’ brand has become synonymous with excellent North Indian and Punjabi food in the twin cities. Although our brand has inspired many imitators around the city, we would like to clarify that we only have three original branches (Begum Bazaar and SR Nagar).

On the occasion of turning 50, we’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our customers for their continued patronage. We’d also like to point out that we have expanded our menu to serve you the best Continental, Italian and French delicacies.

The Santosh Dhaba experience is the joint effort of our passionate culinary team who season and taste every dish to make sure the flavour meets SD’s stringent standards.

“We’re very mindful of our legacy each time we step into the kitchen. We source the best ingredients from across the country and don’t take any shortcuts with our process. We also keep experimenting with our food whether it’s introducing a new dish on the menu or giving a twist to a crowd favourite. Although North Indian and Punjabi are our specialty, we’re now expanding our palate and adding global cuisines including Italian, French and Chinese. The biggest accomplishment for us is when we see the smiles on our patron’s faces, that’s what inspires us to keep going.”
